Far Above Yosemite Valley

If the stories about the crowding of California’s Yosemite Valley scare you, then go above it all to Glacier Point. Since most visitors make the pilgrimage to the seven-mile valley hub, this backcountry above the park is a relatively well-kept secret. The part of the road that leads to the best views usually doesn't open until late May.
